Run for Vidya!, a unique event that brings all PRIMANTIANS together to improve fitness of the self & build camaraderie & the spirit of community across the board, for all age groups - from exuberant children to young adults to our wise Senior Citizens.
Why
Bring the Primanti Family and community together, get all sections (kids, senior citizens and everyone else) together for a healthy walk and run across the society while helping raise funds for social worthy causes around us!

The ‘Run for Vidya’, will be organised in and around the Primanti Campus / Intellion Edge / Badshahpur Corridor (adj.to Primanti), Gurgaon

April 13th, 5:30 am to 8am

Why Run for Vidya

Why Running
The aim of this event is to bring people together, with an emphasis on cooperation and the spirit of community.
Run for Vidya
With each initiative related to running that we undertake in the schools, we have seen a great change in the lives of the children – beyond just health and fitness. Our goal is to make running a normal part of the lives of the children, whatever the challenges they face or backgrounds they come from.

The funds raised, from the registration of this run event, will be donated amongst the following partners that work in the area of taking care and providing education to the children who cannot afford this basic right
The NeoFusion Creative Foundation
Our organisation NeoFusion Creative Foundation is a nationally certified NGO, that was established in 2013 with the aim to empower underprivileged adolescent kids, school dropouts and unemployed youth, by embellishing their craft and hobbies and providing them a space to dream big and align their passion and career choices. NeoFusion currently runs three projects that cater to abridging different social issues. Under our first project ‘SAPNE HUYE APNE’, an online school has been established in order to provide education to underprivileged kids of the country. The project seeks to ignite confidence and wings of creativity and skills in our students, thus motivating them to take charge of their dreams.
All India Confederation of the Blind (AICB)
All India Confederation of the Blind (AICB) is a body of blind persons working for and with its blind brothers and sisters. It is made up of grass-roots and State-level Associations/Organizations working with the blind. The AICB manages the Captain Chandan Lal Middle School for the Blind that is in our neighbourhood. They are a residential school that provides education to the Blind children starting with as early as an age of 4 years up to the standard 8th. They have been doing good work and creating professionals from their school system through several years.

Run for Vidya will be an in-person event ! We welcome you all to come and experience the joy of running with us in a journey of a lifetime!
Safety precautions
We urge all participants to follow all safety precautions as mandated by the authorities regarding COVID-19. All details regarding safety precautions related to COVID-19 and other aspects of running will be emailed to all participants.
BIB Pick-ups and Gifts
There will be bibs for participants and they are required to wear the same for the runs.We will announce further details on BIB pick-ups closer to the event. Every participant will receive a gift as memorabilia from the event and the same will be given to the participants in person on the event day post completion of the chosen running/walk distance.
Categories
We will have the following distance categories for the event:
- 3K
- 5K
- 10K
Please note: Participation in the 10K event is subject to review of medical history, fitness of the participant and review of the registration by the organizers.
Certificates
We will create online certificates that can be downloaded from our website for every registered participant.
Dates and Start times:
- Assembly between Block B & Block C at Tata Primanti (in front of Clubhouse Gate 6)
- Arrival at Venue for 10K distance is at 5:15 am
- Start time for 10Km: 5:30 A.M
- Arrival at Venue for 5K distance is at 5:45 am
- Start time for 5Km: 6:00 A.M
- Arrival at Venue for 3K distance is at 6:00 am
- Start time for 3Km: 6:15 A.M
Parking:

We encourage carpool. For our guests, please park in the designated spots so as to not disturb the race route.
Run for Vidya Previous 4 Editions
Run For Vidya 2022 was the first edition. We had subsequent second, third and fourth editions of Run For Vidya in 2023, 2024 and 2025. We had 170+ attendees at each of the events with 220 registrants during the 2025 edition. Taking out expenses from the event, we had raised and contributed appx Rs 25,000/- each of the first two editions and Rs 35K in the 3rd edition as additional support funds that were donated to NeoFusion foundation that supports the eductaion of underpriveldged children around our vicinity

If you would like to make a significant contribution or want to avoid the payment gateway charges, please add a donation amount to your run registration. Every registration and contribution will receive a 80G certified receipt when requested. Donations can also be made on the event date at the event.

Will there be on-the-spot registration?
No.

What is the age group for participants?
Participants should be at least 6 years of age and anyone below 18 years of age must be accompanied by parents (or guardians above 18). The Registration form will be considered equivalent to parental consent for participation.

How will I know if my registration is successful?
You will receive a confirmation email informing you of your registration details to the email your have provided during registration.

What if I don't receive the confirmation email?
If you don’t receive it within a week of registering online, please send a mail to support@runnershigh.in

When is the last date for registration?
Online registrations will be closed at 5pm on 29th May 2024 or when we reach 200 registrations, whichever is earlier.

What about payment?
Payment details are available on the Registration Form. Payment can be made through Online Bank Transfer., Credit card, Debit card or UPI.
Registration for the event is NOT complete without payment.

When and where will the BIB pick up be?
Details will be announced on the event website closer to the event and also will be emailed to all registered participants.

Can Foreign Nationals register & participate in this event?
Yes, you can support us by running as per your convenience virtually. However, the payment gateway can only take Indian account details and hence you will need to make payment using an Indian Account or credit card. Also, we won’t be able to send you the bib or freebies.

Does Run for Vidya target a huge number of runners?
We want to grow organically and will take more runners only when we truly believe we can cater to everyone equally.
This is the third edition of the event and we are organising on April 13th, 2025. We are hoping to reach our usual number of 250 participants. It is not a target that will determine the success or failure of the event. We are hopeful that an event based on community and giving will grow organically.

Can I donate towards the cause?
Yes. You can donate towards the cause by making a contribution at the time of registration. How will you ensure transparency?
A budget document with estimated expenses and registration income for the event will be put up on the event website. After the event along with the ‘thank you’ email we will send across actuals of expenditure and income for the event to all runners and also put it up on the website. Every expense will be supported by a receipt. Every contribution/donation will also be supported by a receipt. By the next year, when we organize the next edition, we will give an update on the funds raised in the previous year. You can always contact us to see how the funds were used.

Will there be prizes?
Yes – for everyone. Every participant will get an opportunity to be a part of this community-driven event and help others in the process as well. We will recognize every participant with an online certificate that can be downloaded and printed.
